OK time to get started...
The first thing for any goal process is attitude. That can be formed before the process and added to along the way. You need to establish the amount you wish to pay to achieve the goal. In any decent goal it is usually an "unreasonable" amount. This is becuase sacrifice is required. It's often described as passion or commitment but really its the amount you are willing to give up to excel at your chosen goal. Lets face it, most olympians lead a life devoid of balance and the superficial pleasures most of us aspire to.
2014 in the Tasman was an experience to last a lifetime!
I am satisfied with the experience. It offered a great cross section of what it is to be at sea. It really does have some wonderous extremes. Some nights were flat starry and filled with phosphorescence. Others were a defening roar of wind with a couple of lumpy bits of water to agitate the backwards progress.
Two things remain.
To finish the job - we all know how that unfinished project irks.
To get better. The opportunity to improve in so many areas. As its a newish concept it will experience a growth. The world is getting smaller and it is exciting to improve innovation and reinforce new information.
"I Certainly don't regret my experiences because without them, I couldn't imagine who or where I would be today. Life is an amazing gift to those who have overcome great obstacles, and attitude is everything!"
